Today was not a great day...
I got to teach my first lesson today with my fourth graders and what am I working on? The metric system. I just wanted to teach centimeters and millimeters.  I think I succeeded in confusing them more than anything else.  My professor says I wait too long for them to answer questions instead of answering them myself, and I need to actually write things on the board instead of having answers...

Bulldogs...
So my mom’s friend has a bulldog she is trying to find a home for because she doesn’t have the time to take care of it.  We would very much like a bulldog, but on top of our concern that we’ll wind up with way too many dogs when my mom comes to visit, I keep reading about all of these health problems that bulldogs have.
